Great fun upland bird hunting with dogs, seeing & listening to wild turkeys in front of our cabin, outstanding first class gourmet meals....the owners, the guides, and the staff are all over the top!

5 stars does not do the Scotlyn Ranch justice. The Tex-Mex fajitas were delicious and the staff was great. They had an excellent selection of cold beer and a wide variety of liquor. Scott and his crew truly went out of their way to make our employee event one that we will not forget. On a side note, pictures do not do this place justice as the views from the ranch are phenomenal and you will have to see to believe!
What a relaxing atmosphere! Scott and Jacklyn are the most gracious hosts and really know how to treat their guests like royalty!
This Ranch is spectacular! This is an awesome venue for a diverse range of adventure or just a place to kick back and relax.
Scotlyn Ranch is a place you can take your spouse for a tranquil getaway, your child on his or her first hunt, or a shooting adventure with a broad range of weapons.
Amazing Ridge top sunrises and sets create an unrivaled peace in ones spirit coupled with hosts who are genuine to the core make Scotlyn Ranch a place that I will frequent often. At least as long as Scott and company will have me and my family.

| I would highly recommend the Scotlyn Ranch to anyone searching for a great experience in North Central Idaho My wife and I were very fortunate to draw cow elk tags in unit 11A in 2018. Both of us were suffering from health issues and were not very mobile, I was recovering from shoulder surgery at the time. We attempted to find a land owner that would let us hunt for months with no success, when my local Fish and Game officer recommended the Scotlyn Ranch. I contacted the owner by phone he was gracious and helpful and put me in contact with his guide “Joseph.”We met early on a Saturday morning, Joseph told us that he had seen a herd of elk the night before and that if we hurried we would be on them by shooting light. Joseph was true to his word and within an hour we had two cow elk on the ground, primarily because of Joseph’s guiding ability rather than from any contribution from us. Joseph called in reinforcements to help him with the elk while my wife and I tried to stay out of the way of the experts as much as we could. Joseph and his helper (I have forgotten his name) got the elk loaded onto the UTVs and we headed back to the lodge. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I know the Scotlyn Ranch is about growing big elk for big clients, and they do, we saw them, but they helped us out too. We were just hunting cows trying to fill our freezer and they bent over backwards to help us. Everyone there was helpful, polite, and they know what they are doing. “Joseph the Guide” is outstanding. He knows his business and he is quiet and efficient and he does a tremendous job. The location is beautiful with a great mix of prairie, farm land and broken canyons with abundant wildlife of every kind. I would highly recommend the Scotlyn Ranch to anyone searching for a great experience in North Central Idaho. |

| Great experience for both my husband & myself! Last fall in November, my husband hunted Pheasants & had a great experience with Abby & her bird dogs in the fields at Scotlyn Ranch. I had drawn a Mule deer tag for Area 11A. Scotlyn Ranch has Propety & great hunting for that area. We had Joseph as our guide & he’s an awesome guide & hunter. We had a blast climbing the hills & stalking & glassing possible prospects. Once we located a prime Mule Deer buck we drove to that area, crawled on hands & knees to get close enough. Joseph whispered his location as we got close enough crawling through the tall wheat stubbles which kept us hidden from him. He set up the Shooting stick & as I got my rifle in place & got on him, I shot & he was down. That was it, he never got up again. Great experience for both my husband & myself! Joseph is 5 Star!Highly recommend Scotyln Ranch to anyone who loves the outdoors, hunting, shooting or exploring. Extremely nice people who care about your whole outdoor experience at their Ranch. |
