The Settler Experience

This is an overnight trip combing the Canyon Experience with an overnight stay at one of the original homestead sites in a canvas tent on cots. Enjoy campfire cooking combined with stories about the Nez Perce Indians, the Lewis and Clark expedition, and the original settlers who came to Idaho in the late 1800s and early 1900s. This is not your average camping trip as you will be all alone in the wild (with your guide, of course), with wildlife all around you. Very few people have ever been to your campsite, much less stayed the night there. There are no other campers nearby. It is a surreal experience for many can be a very soul soothing experience – completely off the grid, in the middle of the wilderness. It’s a great way to connect with family members who aren’t used to being “unconnected” and enjoy some quality family time.
In the morning you’ll enjoy some campfire coffee and farm fresh eggs and bacon cooked over the fire before mounting your horse and riding back to civilization.
