Idaho Wildlife

Here on Scotlyn Ranch we have lots of wildlife; you will likely see whitetail and mule deer, elk, wild turkeys, maybe a black bear, and lots of different species of birds. We also have other wildlife on the ranch that are elusive, yet you may get lucky and get a sighting of muskrat, mink, mountain lion, bobcat, chipmunks, or marmots. You can often view deer, elk, and wild turkeys from the back patio of the lodge, but if you would like some exercise, we offer a two hour guided hike around our north trail system. The best time to see wildlife is in the early mornings and late afternoons.
